What we collect
When you send an enquiry, we collect the details you type in: name, company, email, phone number, project details, and preferred budget and currency. For job applications we also collect your location, skills, availability, portfolio link, and what you tell us about your work.
Each form also sends a few hidden details about how you found us: the page you first landed on, the website that referred you, and campaign tags in the link (such as UTM parameters or a Google Ads campaign ID). If you accepted advertising cookies, it also includes the Google Ads click ID from the ad you clicked. You never have to fill these in; they tell us which pages and adverts bring enquiries.
We also collect standard analytics data (pages visited, device type, approximate location) to understand how the website is used, as described under Cookies.
How we use it
Your details are used only to communicate with you: to reply to your enquiry or application, prepare a quote, deliver the work you ask for, and send project updates. Every form asks for your consent before we reply.
We contact you by email or WhatsApp, and by phone or video call only when you ask for one. We never send SMS messages, and we never add you to a marketing list without your separate consent.
We never sell or share your data
We do not sell, rent, or trade personal information, and we do not share it with anyone for their own marketing. It is only processed by the service providers below, and only so the website works and your project gets delivered.
Spam protection
Our forms use Cloudflare Turnstile to check that a submission comes from a person, not a bot. Most visitors never see it; sometimes it shows a single checkbox. To do this, Cloudflare processes technical details such as your IP address and browser information, under its own privacy policy. Forms also include a hidden field and a timing check that stop automated spam.
Third party services
To run the website and deliver projects we use trusted providers: website hosting (Vercel), domain, DNS and bot protection (Cloudflare), form email delivery (Resend), analytics and advertising measurement (Google Analytics and Google Ads), payments (Stripe, Razorpay, PayPal, Wise), and communication tools (Google Workspace, WhatsApp, Zoom). Each provider processes data under its own privacy policy.
Cookies
Essential storage keeps your currency preference (USD or INR), accessibility settings, and cookie choice in your browser; no consent is needed for that. With your consent we also use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages are useful, and Google Ads conversion tracking to know when an enquiry came from an advert. Visitors in the EEA, UK and Switzerland are asked before any of these cookies are set; everyone else can opt out at any time.
Change your choice with the Cookie settings link in the footer. If you choose Essential only, the Google cookies already in your browser and any stored ad click ID are removed. You can also clear cookies from your browser settings.
Data retention and security
Enquiry data is kept for as long as needed to respond and, for clients, for the duration of the working relationship plus reasonable record keeping. Reasonable technical measures, including HTTPS and access controls, protect the information we hold.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you at any time by emailing mail@website2design.com. Requests are handled within 30 days.
Changes
This policy may be updated as services change. The date at the top reflects the latest version.
