Domain transfers

Domain transfers, handled for you.

You do not need to work out registrars, codes, or settings. We do the work; we just need you for one short step.

  1. 01

    We prepare the transfer

We unlock the domain at your current registrar, get the transfer code, and copy your DNS records so the website and email keep working through the move.

  2. 02

    A 5-minute checkout with you

We just need you available for a quick checkout. It takes about five minutes, and we guide you through it live.

  3. 03

    We approve and confirm

We watch for the approval emails, confirm the transfer, and check that the records are in place at the new registrar.

  4. 04

    The registry completes it

Our part is done within a day. The domain registry then takes 2 to 5 business days to finish the transfer, and your site stays online throughout.

Need a new domain instead? See domain registration. Moving email at the same time? See business email.

How a migration works

Mapped first, moved second, switched last.

Migrations go wrong when they are rushed. We map everything, move it to a private staging copy, check it side by side, and only switch over once the new site is confirmed.

Step 1

Inventory and URL map

Every page, image, form, and URL listed, with a redirect map so every old link points to its new home.

Step 2

Move to staging

Content, database, media, and design moved to the new platform, builder, or host on a private staging copy, while your current site stays live.

Step 3

Check everything side by side

Old and new compared page by page: redirects tested, titles and descriptions kept, forms and email confirmed working.

Step 4

Switch over

DNS switched with as little downtime as possible. The old site stays in place until the new one is confirmed working.

How we protect what you have

What a careful migration looks like.

01

Nothing moves until it is mapped

Every page and URL is listed before anything moves, so nothing quietly disappears along the way.

02

Redirects so your rankings follow

Old URLs point to their new pages with 301 redirects, and titles and descriptions are kept, so Google and your visitors find you in the new place.

03

Email keeps working

Email records are planned before any DNS change, so messages keep arriving during and after the move.

04

Live stores move with their data

For stores, the database is synced at the switch, so orders and customer accounts placed during the move are not lost.

From our own projects

Three moves off hosting that had stopped fitting the business

Silly BoomVYN DenimElevator Operator Band

  • Shared hosting & Flywheel → VPS
  • Live stores and live sites

The brief

Two stores had outgrown shared hosting, where you are sharing CPU and memory with hundreds of strangers and your checkout slows down because someone else is having a good day. A third was on Flywheel, paying managed-hosting prices for a site that did not need managed-hosting hand-holding.

What we did

  • Moved Silly Boom and VYN Denim from shared hosting onto VPS hosting, so each store has resources that belong to it rather than whatever is left over.
  • Moved Elevator Operator Band off Flywheel onto our own VPS plan, cutting the monthly cost without giving up performance.
  • Migrated live stores with orders and customer accounts in them, which means syncing the database at cutover rather than restoring a copy taken the day before and quietly losing a day of sales.
  • Kept URLs identical across each move and watched the index afterwards, because a migration that changes URLs is a redirect project wearing a migration costume.

Why it mattered

Most people move hosts for the wrong reason, usually a bad support ticket, and stay on the wrong plan for years for the same reason. Nobody wants to risk the move. The risk is real but it is almost entirely in the cutover, and the cutover is the part you can plan for.

Want the same for your project? Tell us what you are trying to fix and you will get a straight answer about whether a website migration is the right thing to spend on.

What you get

What every migration includes, and what is separate.

Included in every migration

  • Full content, database, and media migration
  • A URL map and 301 redirects, so your SEO comes with you
  • Titles, descriptions, and internal links kept
  • DNS, SSL, and email planned before the switch
  • The move tested on a private staging copy first
  • Side-by-side checks of pages, forms, and email
  • A switch with as little downtime as possible

Separate, when you need it

Migrations start from $50, or ₹3,000 in India, for one simple website. The final price depends on the size of the site and the kind of move: a host-to-host move is simpler than rebuilding a Wix site in WordPress or switching page builders. Moving several websites gets better pricing, and you always get a fixed written quote before anything moves.

Not when it is done properly. We map every old URL to its new page with 301 redirects and keep titles, descriptions, and internal links, so Google follows the move. Faster hosting or a cleaner site can even help rankings afterwards.

No. Email records are planned before any DNS change, so messages keep arriving. If you are also moving mailboxes to a new provider, we migrate those too.

Our part is done within a day. After that, the domain registry takes 2 to 5 business days to complete the transfer. The only thing we need from you is about five minutes for the checkout, and the website stays online the whole time.

Yes. Content and images are moved over, the design is rebuilt in WordPress to match or improve on the original, and old URLs redirect to the new ones so visitors and Google follow.

Yes. Your content, images, and pages move across, and the layouts are rebuilt in the new builder, whether that is Elementor, Bricks, Oxygen, Divi, or another. It is usually much less work than starting a new website.

Yes. For live stores we sync the database at the moment of the switch, so orders and customer accounts placed during the move come with it, rather than restoring a copy from the day before.
